Stimulating The Dead

Remember last year's Federal Stimulus Package? Well, the checks are going out and some 8,000 to 10,000 dead people are receiving checks. What is curious is that some of them were never part of the social security system.

This also illustrates very clearly that government is not capable of handling some of the simplest of tasks. For those of you clamoring for government control of your heath, let this serve as a warning.

I am not surprised Clifton. That is the Chicago way. In Chicago, dead people vote so they may as well get paid a stimulus check too. Interestingly, the dead people are always Democrats.

Democrats must see dead people.

/Sorry for the bad joke.

Funny you should mention government controlled health care in connection to stimulus checks. If I fit those two stories together, I get "You may have to be dead to get government stimulation."

There is more that a little truth to that.

I only wonder how many of those dead people will somehow find a way to cash those checks.

As to, "For those of you clamoring for government control of your heath, let this serve as a warning"....those who clamor for "more free stuff" never listen to such admonitions.

The same people deny that England, Canada and other nations with government-run healthcare systems all ration care, restrict doctor visits and procedures, etc. even when people from those countries make clear that those nations do exactly that!

And I thought dead people voting was bad. Now they're getting gov't money, too!

And Clif, thanks for stopping by my blog and liking my poem. :)

I know I was wasting my breath on pro-government health care crew. But when all is said and done I can honestly say I tried to warn them. Then I will launch into "I told ya so"!
