Boycott makes Beck bigger!

In going after Glenn Beck’s advertisers, Color of Change has cause Glenn Beck’s audience to grow to new heights. On Wednesday, Glenn Beck hit the 3,000,000 mark aided by a telephone interview with Rush Limbaugh and an endorsement of Sarah Palin.

If the whole concept behind Color of Change’s boycott was to get Beck off the air, then they have suffered an epic failure. More people are tuning in than ever and to make matters worse, many of Beck’s lost advertisers have simple shifted their advertising to other Fox News programs. So in the end, Beck could loose all his advertisers but still be of great value to Fox by bringing in new views to the Fox News Channel.

Boycott FAIL.

Yep, and it is making Walmart - who has also sided with Mayors Against Illegal Guns - yet another reason not to shop there, even poorer.

I continue to get a large number of google searches hitting my blog regarding Glenn Beck. He is bigger now than ever. Thanks, MSM!

I am loving this (and I'm sure Beck is too)!

It's the ultimate definition of irony. And Beck is laughing all the way to the bank.

I do business with CVS. I will again in a few days. But, I have choices and a computer. I'm going to try to email CVS and tell them they have lost my business if they don't advertise on Becks program.

You know...the country didn't "come together" as the dems say..for change. The way I see it, it split down the middle.
That leaves half of us to stand up and make a difference.

Sometimes I see hope in this and other times...I see history repeating itself.......Here in the Land of 500 Nations...lost forever. Somehow, someone needs to unite us in the common cause...before "we" go the way of the buffalo.

I give Glenn Beck a lot of credit for his courage in exposing the administration and their agenda. If these companies decide to pull their ads from his show, that's their choice. It isn't making any difference. Beck is winning this fight.

I have been watching Glen Beck for years. He started out on the liberal channel CNN. Then one day without warning his show was gone, and he found his way to Fox. He has never changed in the way he points out the news that the main stream media fail to report on.
Those spineless ad reps that give into those who wish to quiet him, are the ones who will lose in the end. I know that I always learn something new when I tune into the Glen Beck program. I intend to watch him for years to come unless the current administration and followers find a way to silence our freedom of speech more than they already have. We are losing our civil rights on a daily basis. We are guaranteed in the Constitution that we have freedom of person, freedom of religion, and freedom of property and freedom of the press. I am 58 years old, and I can tell you that things really were different when I was growing up. And we weren't regulated at every turn. Our country will become unrecognizable if folks like Glen Beck and others are quieted. Please lets not let them take away more of our freedom. If you don't like Glen change the channel. Boom, no Glen. Now isn't that easy? Now leave the rest of us alone and allow us to make our own decision on which news program we wish to watch. That is freedom of person.

The big question is when will Color of Change realize that?

Luckily boycotting Walmart is a piece of cake for me, there are none near by.

If you think Glen Beck searches rack up, try putting Glen Beck and Sarah Palin in the same post. Linkage Gold!

Welcome to ABC. It is very ironic that Color of Change's boycott backfired. The best part is that it backfired at the worst possible time.

Beck is getting his best audience when his is exposing the worse about the Obama administration.

Excellent idea writing to CVS. I wrote a slew of letters to get Letterman off the air. I really wish more people stuck with it.

You make an interesting point about coming together. Between racial pot stirrers and hyper partisanship, it is going to be a daunting task.

Clearly Beck is making a difference. The more he shows us, the more we dig for info, the more we can expose them.

Ah the good old days of personal responsiblity! Today we have the thin skin cry babies who need anything and everything they feel is offensive removed from their sight. Stop crying and change the #$%^ channel!
