Rep. Alan Grayson says Republicans want sick people to die, won’t apologize

Back in July I praised Rep. Grayson for bashing the Federal Reserve. Today, I have to ask, what the heck got into him? Grayson is now playing the old “Let’s demonize Republicans with hyperbole” game.

The other day Grayson took to the House floor and said this:

Republicans have countered with their traditional righteous indignation and Grayson has upped the ante by refusing to apologize.

Grayson:

'I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven't voted sooner to end this holocaust in America.'

So once again, Republicans get a big fat in your face from the Democrats and all they can do is voice faux condemnation. Once again Republicans allow Democrats to paint them as evil, never mind the fact that the socialized medicine scheme they are concocting is pure evil!

Last month Sarah Palin showed the weak knee Republicans how it is done. With a mere 5 paragraphs on Facebook, she delivered a stem-winder that sent Obama Care back on its heels.

The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

What did Republicans do with this awesome sledgehammer Palin threw into the mix? They wet their draws and ran away from it as fast as they could. I bet they wish they stuck with it now. Then they could have easily come back to Rep. Grayson and say: Democrats only want to control health care so that they can play God.

The lead singer for Spike Jones and his City Slickers was named Carl Grayson. Any relation I wonder?

But seriously folks....

While I believe Congressman Grayson is one of the good guys and sympathize with his anger, it always makes me a tad uneasy to see these donkeys behaving like elephants. Just a thought.

This guy's a moron. He's trying to recreate the outrage that Sarah Palin tapped into with her insightful and politically savvy comment about "death panels." This guy's out of his mind if he thinks that there is anything remotely like the Holocaust going on in this country, and everyone knows it (and are laughing).

I heard the comment made by Grayson on Hannity's radio program. It was just another stupid remark made by those Einstein's we have in Congress. If Speaker Pelosi had any leadership ability in her, which she does not, she would squelch this kind of stuff. Sadly, she much prefers the 3-ring circus she is master of ceremonies over instead of focusing on real issues. Sad, just very sad.

If the donkeys behaved like elephants they might be able to shake that Gestapo image they got rolling.

By the way, has anyone figured out how to handle the burden on families who are mandated to pay for healthcare, but don't make enough for a subsidy?

Just a thought.

You are right, I think he was trying to do a Palin, but in a ham fisted way. He totally missed the nuance in Palin's approach. She bashed the workings of the plan not the people. Plus what she bashed was exactly how the plan would have to work.

I hate when people make ridiculous comparison like he did with the Holocaust. Does anyone even buy that?

Pelosi is going down as the worst House Speaker ever. She and much of the Dems are completely detached from reality.
