Rasmussen: Marco Rubio 49, Charlie Crist [aka Toast] 37

Rasmussen reports today that conservative Marco Rubio has opened up a commanding 12 point lead over RINO Charlie Crist. Rubio has made a stunning come from behind when he was down 22 points in August.

What we can take from this, is that the GOP need not impose any litmus test to their candidates, because the primary voters are more that equip to weed out any wishy washy candidates. The GOP would do well to hold back on endorsements until after the people have had a chance to give the candidates the once over.

I suspect that Charlie Crist will be dropping out pretty soon.

The GOP might take a very serious look at Lt. Col. Allen West, given this development. Crist seems to have the Obama syndrome. "I just want to get the job, but I really don't want to do it".
And Congressman Rooney in my district has discovered that dealing with the left in a bipartisan fashion is about as successful as herding cats.
Thanks for the many Rubio posts, Clifton!

You are very lucky down there in FL. You have West and Rubio. Up here in NJ, it is truly slim pickin's.

Bipartisanship will only work when we have a better class of Congress members on both sides of the aisle.
